Insurance & Payment Information

Direct Billing Made Simple

Aurora Holistic Solutions aims to make the payment process as convenient as possible. Depending on your insurer, benefit plan, service, and individual coverage, eligible treatment costs may be submitted directly to your extended healthcare provider.

How direct billing works

Provide your extended health insurance information before or during your appointment. Where direct billing is supported and your plan allows it, eligible treatment costs can be submitted to the insurer. Any amount not covered by your plan remains the patient's responsibility.

Extended Health Benefits

Insurance Providers

Direct billing availability depends on the insurer, your specific benefit plan, the healthcare service, and the insurer's electronic billing rules.

Billing Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Where direct billing is available, the claim can generally be submitted after an eligible service is provided. The insurer determines the amount approved and paid under your plan.

Direct billing may still be possible for the covered portion. Any deductible, co-insurance, plan limit, or remaining balance is normally payable by the patient.

Contact the clinic before your appointment. Electronic billing options can change, and some insurers or benefit plans may use different submission processes.

A denied electronic claim does not necessarily mean the service is completely ineligible. You may need to pay the clinic directly and contact your insurer to determine the reason for the denial or whether another reimbursement process applies.

Some benefit plans require a physician's referral or prescription for certain healthcare services. The requirement is determined by your insurance plan, so confirm this with your provider before your first appointment.

Direct Billing Policies & Important Information

Direct billing is a convenience service and does not guarantee that an insurer will approve or reimburse a treatment. Benefit plans may contain annual limits, deductibles, co-payments, service restrictions, referral requirements, or online billing limitations.

Patients are responsible for confirming their coverage before receiving treatment and for paying any portion of the account that is not paid by their insurer.

If your plan does not permit payment directly to the clinic, you may need to pay for the service and submit your receipt to the insurer for reimbursement.
